Men Score 100 For The First Time This Season
Beaver wins easily over Wildcats
Williamsport, PA- Penn State Beaver Men's Basketball Team (7-2, 4-1 PSUAC) played their away game this weekend against Penn College (Williamsport, PA).
Beaver took control of the game from the start but the Wildcats kept pace for the first four minutes. Up 9-6, Beaver went on a 10-0 run to go up 19-6 with just over 13 minutes to play. Nick Miller (Beaver Falls/Beaver Falls, PA) and Darius Prince (West Mifflin/Pittsburgh, PA) had an excellent performance taking Beaver in to the half on top 60-36.
Nothing changed in the second half as Beaver went on to win 105-68.
For the afternoon, Beaver shot 55.2% from the field, and 41.7% from three point rage. Miller and Prince led the team with 20 points each. Julian Taylor (Rochester/Rochester, PA) and Chris Weathers (New Brighton/New Brighton, PA) also had 10 points each. Prince had 5 rebounds and 5 steals as well.
Beaver's next game will be Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 3pm against Central Penn (Summerdale, PA).
