Penn State Beaver 92, Penn State Mont Alto 50

Following a 52-40 win over Penn State Fayette on Friday evening, Mont Alto dropped the second game of crossover weekend losing to Beaver by a final of 92-50. Kaleigh Hartman scored 17 points on 7 of 14 shooting, including 3 of 7 from deep. Claudia Siegfried paced Beaver off the bench with 27 points including 7 of 7 from long distance.

Beaver raced out to an early 31-16 first quarter lead on 48% shooting with six three point baskets made. Siegfried had 11, Makitah Logan scored eight and Emery Black also had eight points in the opening frame. Hartman converted on three of four shots for six points for Mont Alto. 

Mont Alto kept things close in the second quarter, only losing the second quarter 22-16 and went into the half down 53-32.

Beaver would pull away in the third quarter, holding Mont Alto to just eight third quarter points and adding 32 of their own on an efficient 11 of 16 shooting.

Mont Alto held Beaver to seven points in the fourth quarter as Beaver took the divisional showdown by a final of 92-50.
