Six Penn State Beaver Spring Athletes earn USCAA honors this season

Dubois, PA -- Six Penn State Beaver Spring Athletes earn USCAA honors this season.  

Earrning a position on the National All-Academic Team were both Tara McFadden and Dina Cable, marking the second award this season for McFadden. National All-Academic team honors are awarded to student-athletes of sophomore standing or higher with at least a 3.5 GPA.  Tara and Dina join four other student-athletes on campus to earn this distinction so far this academic year. 

For softball, earning the distinction of All-American were Vanessa Jackson, Kayla Campbell and Jessica Hughes.  Baseball also had one player earn a spot as an All-American.  Ty Cole, a senior short stop earned the lone award for the Lions.
