Three Basketball Players Earn USCAA Honors

Uniontown, PA -- Three Penn State Beaver basketball players earn USCAA honors this season.
Earning a position on the National All-Academic Team were both Tara McFadden and Dominique Stevenson. National All-Academic team honors are awarded to student-athletes of sophomore standing or higher with at least a 3.5 GPA. Tara and Dom join three other student-athletes on campus to earn this distinction so far this academic year.
Earning a spot as a First Team All-American for her efforts on the court was senior, Brittany Jackson. Jackson finished fifth in the nation in scoring (19.1 ppg) and third in rebounding (11.9 rpg) while becoming the 13th player in women's basketball history to earn the honor.
