Five Men's Soccer Players Earn PSUAC All-Conference
As the soccer season comes to a close, five men's players earned PSUAC All-Conference honors.
Being named 1st Team All-Conference were Julius Illilano and Dom DeMino. Illiano finished fifth in the conference in goals with 16 as well as 14 assists for 44 points on the season. DeMino finished his season with 10 goals and 3 assists, landing him 8th in the conference in scoring.
Earning 2nd Team All-Conference were Sam Sharpless, John Valiga and Brandon Golonka. Sharpless, who was the starting goalie, went 6-6 on the season with 108 saves and only 38 goals against. Valiga, a midfielder from Ambridge, had 4 goals and 3 assists while playing consistent defense all season. And finally, junior, Brandon Golonka, a defender from Burgettstown, PA was solid all year in front of Sharpless even tallying one goal this season.
