Freshman Rachel Grubbs led Beaver to a 2-0 week as she helped her team to PSUAC victories against Penn State New Kensington and Penn State DuBois.
In the victory against New Kensington, Grubbs had 8 kills and 16 assists, which led the team in both categories.
She followed that performance by leading the Lady Lions to a straight set win against Penn State DuBois. In the match she led Beaver with 13 assists, 20 digs and 3 three aces. She also was second in kills with 5.
