After a competitive week of play in Myrtle Beach, SC to open the 2012 softball season, junior Ashley Watkins, is leading the Lady Lions softball team with a batting average of .409. She also has an on base percentage of .458 and a slugging percentage of .455. Her defense is also near flawless committing only one error during spring training to have a fielding percentage of .957.
